PFI FREEDIVER COURSE:

The PFI Freediver level course is for you.
In this course you will be taught the fundamental building blocks of Freediving in a 1 instructor to 4 students ratio setting to allow Bottom Dwellers' students to get the most out of each course as possible. You will learn freediving skills and techniques and experience first hand how these will benefit you in an aquatic environment. You will learn about the physiological effects that the physics of freediving has on a freediver. The Freediver course will take you to a maximum depth of 20m/66' in open water sessions. In confined water sessions the Freediver course will also have you explore and practice Static Apnea with the goal of increasing your breath-hold capabilities and learning to better manage your body for freediving.
Bottom dwellers Freedive-Harvesting Course:
This course bridges the gap for the 'certified freediver' allowing them to grow as a safe and competent freediver, adapting to safe, efficient and conscientious Freedive-Harvesting and Spearfishing methods and practices
Freediving within their certification standards, students will be taught the fundamentals of safe Freedive-Harvesting, Equipment, Band-Powered Device handling as well as the basics of Ethical Freedive-Harvesting and Local Rules and Regulations.
***In Bottom Dwellers' Freedive-Harvesting Courses a Band Powered device, float-line and float system will be provided to each safe-buddy system by Bottom Dwellers. Students/Clients will share one band powered device, float and float-line between each pair of freedivers in their safe buddy systems as to Bottom Dwellers' Safety Standards.***
***If Freediver Certification is not achieved during the PFI Freediver Course preceding the Freedive-Harvesting Course, the student will be limited in their use of band-powered devices as to their abilities for creating a safe instructional and learning environment.***
