Professional Freediving Leadership & Instructor Training
The PFI Professional Instructor Development Package is a complete leadership pathway designed for experienced freedivers ready to advance into professional supervision, rescue, and instructional roles.
This comprehensive package combines three progressive PFI programs:
Recreational Safety Freediver
Assistant Freediver Instructor Development Course (IDC)
Freediver Instructor Evaluation Course (IEC)
Candidates will develop advanced rescue capabilities, instructional skills, leadership techniques, and professional-level freediving competency while working through classroom sessions, confined water training, open water evaluations, rescue scenarios, and teaching presentations.
Whether your goal is to become a professional freediving instructor, strengthen your leadership abilities, or contribute more effectively to the freediving community, this pathway provides the knowledge, experience, and mentorship to help you succeed.
WHY TAKE THIS PACKAGE?
Unlike standalone instructor evaluations, this package provides a complete progression through the PFI leadership system.
Participants benefit from:
Structured progression from Safety Diver to Instructor
Extensive rescue and supervision development
Professional mentorship throughout the process
Real-world teaching experience
Leadership and communication development
Internationally recognized PFI training standards
Preparation for professional instructional opportunities
By the end of the pathway, candidates will have developed the confidence, judgment, and practical skills required to safely teach and supervise freedivers while representing one of the most respected freediving education systems in the world.
