If you're looking to take your freediving to the next level in a confined water setting; wanting to learn to freedive safely and become a good 'Safe Buddy' diver; wanting to extend your bottom times and have longer breath holds; or simply wanting to learn about the basics and foundations of good, safe freediving practices and get some guided and supported Open-Water exposure in a controlled format the The Pool-Freediver+ course is for you.
In this course you will be taught the fundamental building blocks of Freediving in a 1 instructor to 8 student ratio setting. You will learn freediving skills and techniques in a confined water setting and experience first hand how these will benefit you in an aquatic environment. You will learn about the physiological effects that the physics of freediving has on a freediver. In confined water sessions the Pool Only Freediver course will also have you explore and practice the fundamentals of freediving and snorkelling as well as expose you to Static Apnea with the goal of increasing your breath-hold capabilities and learning to better manage your body for freediving. Take these skillsets and apply them to a fun Open Water Adventure learning format as a group where you’ll take to the Open-Water as a group and continue your learning in a real live diving environment.
